Fated Throne was everything I wanted from the next installment of the Zodiac Academy series. Just when I thought Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti couldn't put these characters through anything else, they somehow managed to raise the stakes even higher. The emotional tension, the action, and the constant feeling that no one was truly safe kept me completely invested from beginning to end.

The final portion of this book absolutely wrecked me. There were several gut-wrenching scenes and impossible decisions that had me questioning how these characters could possibly recover. The authors have a talent for making you hope, crushing that hope, and then somehow convincing you to keep turning the pages anyway. It was heartbreaking in the best possible way.

One of my favorite things about this series is watching the characters continue to grow through everything they're forced to endure, and Fated Throne delivers some fantastic development while pushing the overall story toward what feels like an inevitable war. Every victory feels hard-earned, making the emotional moments hit even harder. The series continues to balance heartbreak, humor, romance, and epic fantasy in a way that keeps me completely addicted.

And I have to mention the bonus chapter from Catalina's point of view—it was such a fantastic addition. Seeing everything through her eyes added so much emotional depth, and it gave me an even greater appreciation for her character. It was the perfect way to end the book and left me desperate to dive straight into the next one.

If you're already invested in Zodiac Academy, this is another unforgettable installment that will make you laugh, cry, rage, and immediately reach for the next book.
